How long have you been in business?
Dr. Shane Kepler has been in practice for 9 years. Our center has been A Creating Wellness Center for 1 year.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is spinal health care. Additionally, our center incorporates a wellness program designed to motivate and encourage participants to make healthier lifestyle choices. Our three dimensional approach evaluates the physical, bio-chemical, and psychological areas of ones life. Using break through technology our center scientifically measures, records, and scores wellness in all three dimensions of your health. One of the unique features of the creating wellness system is the Wellness Quotient. The Wellness Quotient is a score of your overall state of wellness-think of it as a “Wellness IQ”. It helps our center determine your biological age and if you are aging prematurely. Then, based on your scores, a specific customized wellness program helps you make the right changes that will move you toward improved health and well-being.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was only five years old when medical doctors told my parents that I had sever scoliosis, which is a condition of abnormal curvature of the spine. Many Doctors believed that I would need multiple surgeries followed by wearing a rigid plastic back brace for the rest of my life. This solution was not acceptable to my parents. After receiving advice from a close friend, my parents chose to drive me three hours away to Longmont, Colorado in order to see a chiropractor. The Chiropractor did an exam, took some films and then “adjusted” my spine. I began receiving adjustments regularly. The end result was worth every minute. My spine is now straight and strong. Everything I have now, I owe to chiropractic care; which, literally saved my life. This is why I naturally feel compelled to help people create a better quality of life.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a wellness center that is committed to providing every patient with quality care and sound information. We pride ourselves by our "No Wait Policy". Patients are seen immediately. Each of our staff members are friendly, courteous, and equipped to help you with your questions and needs. Our large treatment room and comfortable atmosphere creates a warm, welcoming environment. Your health is our priority, and we promise to educate, motivate, and encourage you toward your healthiest life through patient education classes, dinner workshops, one-to-one lifestyle coaching, and health education for at home or at work.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our center has one location located at 4727 N. 26th St. Lincoln, NE 68521. At this point, we do not have any plans to move.
